Mastering Your Medications, Master Your Life – Medication workshop given by Amy Wang PA/FNP on Wednesday September 9th in the Sequoia Room at 11:00 AM.
Talking about Hospice – With Grace Hospice will coach attendees on how to hold conversations with loved ones about hospice on Tuesday, September 15 at 10:30 AM in the Sequoia Room.
Hearing Screening – Hearing Life to provide free screenings Tuesday September 15th from 10-noon. Must call to make an appointment – 408-238-4230.
Lunch Buddies – Let’s have lunch together, September 2 at 11:30 AM in the Clubhouse. Reserve your spot by calling the VMA office at 408-238-4230.
Support Groups August and September 2026
Alcoholics Anonymous: Will have a weekly meeting in the Sequoia Room every Friday from 5:00 – 6:00 PM. The next meeting August 21st. This meeting is open to Village residents.
Caregiver Support Group: Judith London Ph.D. conducts this monthly group where caregivers meet to share, listen, and learn. Next meeting is September 17th from 10:30 – Noon in the PATIO room and via Zoom. Please contact Judy for all meeting specifics: judithlondon@sbcglobl.net or call 650-468-9624.
Grief Support Group: Pastor Bill Hayden will again be offering grief support for those who have experienced a loss on Mondays starting September 14th. The group is held in the Sequoia room from 10:30 – noon. Booklets used are available in the chapel office.
Parkinson’s Support Group: This monthly group is for all people interested in Parkinsons. The next meeting is on Thursday September 24th at 10:00 AM in the Patio room. No need to register; all are welcome.
